The December meeting will be held on Thursday, December 10th at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach. As usual, things will get started around 7pm in the 2nd floor dining room. Bring it if you got it, or just come out and enjoy the idiotic rantings of President Jim.
If that isn't enough to entice you, it's pizza night at Dogfish Head. Come out for dinner and wash it down with some beer. Then, demand a puppet-show from the club's executive staff.

OCTOBER MEETING
It's time for the October meeting, so make a note.....The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 8th. Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats is the place to be, with everything starting around 7pm (upstairs). Bring your latest fermented creations for everyone to sample, and remember...It's pizza night at Dogfish Head, so come in for dinner. Jess & I will be out of town, so this will be President Kroon's first "official" meeting......please refrain from blurting out obscenities during his "State of the DUH-masses Address". Hope everyone has a great time, and we'll drink a toast to you all.......
Next up....last chance for Punkin' Chunkin' Pit Passes with 'The Great Gourd Experiment'. Time is running out....we need a mug-shot(jpeg), correct spelling of name and....$20. Many DUH members are already coming out for the event with us, so join us!

SEPTEMBER EVENTS
To start this off, the September meeting will be held on Thursday, September 10th. We'll be meeting at John Novosel's Shipwreck Brewery, deep in the wilderness of Lewes. Things will start around 6pm. Bring a dish or something to share (if you want to), and bring your latest fermented creation for tasting. If you need directions to John's, drop me a note.....
Next up, we are planning a big group brew here at Jester Acres on Saturday, September 12th. The details are still being worked out. Everyone is welcome to come out and hang-out, and if you want to get in on the process please send me a note and I will let you know when our first (and only) pre-production meeting will be held. The plan (as of the last discussion) is to brew a big-honkin' barleywine.....
On a final note, Jim Kroon has graciously accepted the mantle of "Grand Poobah" of The Delmarva United Homebrewers. It was voted on at the August meeting and the decision was unanimous. Congratulations to Jim, and good luck with putting up with shouting hordes at your monthly 'town hall meeting'. I will remain active by continuing as the PR person for the club...which means I'll still get dumped on, but now I can blame someone else!

AUGUST MEETING and stuff....
The August meeting will be taking place in Harrington on August 13th. PJ Saunders' has offered to sacrifice his homestead for this month's meeting. If you need directions (or didn't get the emails I sent out), just drop me a note with an email address and I'll shoot them right out to you.
On another note, the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) is having a membership rally on Saturday, August 8th at Sly Fox Brewing in Royersford, PA. Some folks from the group have been talking about heading up for the event. If you are interested, drop me a note and we'll see if we can make it happen.
Finally, if you are interested in getting a pit-pass for this year's Chunk.....drop me a note ASAP. We must have our list, photos and MONEY in by the start of September. So, if you want to join us.....the punkin' is in your court!

MAY MEETING

APRIL MEETING

In order to relieve some of the congestion that happens at the bar before meetings, we will have table service upstairs. If you are coming to the meeting, please proceed directly upstairs and our server will take all of our food AND drink orders up there.

MARCH MEETING AT THE LEX
A quick reminder to everyone that the March meeting will be held on Thursday, March 12th. We'll be meeting at The Loockerman Exchange in Dover, starting around 7pm. Parking is available on-street, but it is limited. If you cannot find a space, additional parking is available at the Post Office/City Hall parking lot, which is a 1.5 blocks away. Upcoming Events
First, the plan right now is to hold the March meeting at The Loockerman Exchange in Dover. The date is March 12th, and the time remains 7pm as always. I will send out a detailed email to everyone as the date approaches, so those who don't have a clue where the place is can find it and I can give you an idea on the best places to park...in case all of the street parking is filled.
For anyone who wasn't at the last meeting, Mike Reese ( a member of DUH) is working at Nassau Valley Vineyards and passed around a sheet for members to get on the NVV newsletter mailing list. If you are interested in signing up, go to nassauvalley@dmv.com and get on the list.
And finally, Philly Beer week is coming up, March 6-15. Over 93 events at dozens of venues. Check out www.phillybeerweek.org for a full list of all the events, plus check Mid Atlantic Brewing News to find out all of the 'outside' events at different establishments!

FEBRUARY MEETING
